China’s Q3 IT Offshore Outsourcing up 20%

(US$663.65 million) in the quarter ended in September, up 19.53 per cent on year and 8.79 per cent on quarter versus last year’s numbers.
Japan was still the biggest contracting market and maintained a stable contract volume to China, with a market share topping 51.6 per cent, up 0.5 per cent on quarter.
European and American market occupied a market share of 32.1 per cent, growing 0.7 per cent from last quarter smoothly. Hong Kong took a 9.1 per cent market share, slightly up 0.1
per cent from Q2, 2008.
In China, majority market share held by national software parks: which are state-designated outsourcing bases. The parks in North China taking a leading role in growth, with 35.9 per cent.
